Lliber
History
- Iberian remains have been found in the surrounding area of Lliber, in Aixa.
- During the Middle Age and the Renaissance this town was populated by Muslims (96 houses in 1510 and 108 in 1609).It suffered the effects of its expulsion (decreed in 1609) like its neighbour Xaló.
- The repopulation was slow and with people from the Balearic Islands whose origins are verified currently by the presence of surnames related to those lands.

- Parish Church of San Cosine and San Damián. Next to the charming esplanade of the Calvary, with a neoclassic style.
- Built in 1700. We find the images of San José and San Damián.
- Surrounding area of the Church and the Calvary.
- The old part of the town is a sample of the good preservation and beautification. Old houses have been restored keeping the traditional facades.
